Feels like family. Members of St. Anne Catholic Church parish council in Welton prepare to say goodbye at the last Mass slated Saturday, July 26, at 4 p.m. Members, who say they are one big family, include (front, from left) Judy Gannon, Father Paul Connolly, Karolyn Meier; (back) Tom Gannon, Carol Ann Roeder, Madonna Gannon and Dale Meier. After the final mass, a dinner will be served at Buzzy’s, the same location where the first Mass was held Dec. 8, 1909. Back then it was known as Stephenson’s Hall. The meal will include chicken, ham, beef, potatoes and salads. Bishop Martin Amos will attend the dinner. Photo by Kate Howes
