 | | Entrepreneurs in the making. Members of Tim Wheeler’s class at Calamus-Wheatland Elementary in Calamus recently completed a Junior Achievement™ (JA) unit. The students learned about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, how various natural, human and capital resources work together to create a successful business and how businesses endeavor to keep with up the times and keep making a profit. Recognized for successfully completing the unit are (front, from left) Josh Bromwell, Addison Luepker, Sammie Flagel, Ellie Carpenter; (middle) Will Dickel, Brock Olson, Paul Stankee, Tom Boettger, Chance Dexter; (back) Quinton Buckner, Riley Bruns, Karragan Whitman, Drake Olson, Hannah Tack, Lucas Hagg and Caleb Banowetz. Griffin Alden also earned his JA certificate of completion.
