Contributed photo “Black, White, and Red All Over” is the name of the quilt that will be sold in a raffle at the 2016 Clinton County Fair. Clinton County Creative Arts members are busy getting ready for this year’s fair, which will come earlier than usual, from July 6 through July 10. This year’s creative arts quilt is on display at Heartland Cottons, 615 10th St., DeWitt. Tickets are available. The quilt was pieced by area quilters, put together by Karen Proesch, and quilted by Sheri Freyermuth. Winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the fair at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10. Blocks for next year’s quilt will be blue, gold or yellow, and white in color. Sew at 12/12-inch block using the pattern of your choice, and drop it off at Heartland Cottons or mail it to Proesch, 1417 225th St., Wheatland, Iowa 52777. Those received by July 6 will be on display at the Creative Arts department on the south end of the 4-H Auditorium. Votes will be taken for viewer’s choice.
