Richard Garlough
Richard Lee Garlough, 68, of Gainsville, Mo., died Nov. 15, 2012, while deer hunting at his brother's cabin in Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Gainesville.

Rick was born Feb. 26, 1944, in Cedar Rapids to Marvin and Gladys Garlough. He married Tanja Tigner Dec. 23, 1988, in Gainesville.

Rick served in the Navy four years. He loved being outdoors as well as hunting and fishing. He was a fishing guide at his resort in Bull Shoals, Ark., and had a fishing column in the Baxter Bulletin.

Previously, he was a sheriff's deputy in Ozark County. Later, he retired from ADM in Clinton before moving to Gainesville.

Rick is survived by his wife of Gainesville; daughters Amanda Garlough of Sparta, Mo., and Ashley (Phillip) Olivo of Mountain Home; a son, Cody of Gainesville; and brothers, Marvin (Deloris) of Clinton and Lynn (Sparky) of Harrodsburg, Ky.
