Billy H. Lankford
Billy H. Lankford, 73, of Fulton, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Second Reformed Church, Fulton, with the Rev. Scott Stephan officiating.

Visitation was held Monday, Feb. 11, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Billy was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Grundy County, Mo., to Ralph O. and Amber A. Holt Lankford. He was educated in the Trenton, Mo., grade schools and attended Trenton High School. Billy served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married Carolyn A. Patterson March 7, 1975, in Brookfield, Mo. Billy was employed at Dairy Pak in Clinton, retiring in 1991.

He was a member of Second Reformed Church in Fulton. Billy enjoyed woodworking, fishing and also did some small engine repair.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Jim Laursen of Fulton, Ken (Tammy) Laursen of Wheatland and Kevin (Deanna) Leonhardt of Fulton; three step-daughters, Tammy Bush of Florida, Mary Beth (Chad) Buck of Tennessee and Patti (Pat) O'Rourke of Madison, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son and a sister.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
