A funeral Mass was held Friday, Dec. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sugar Creek with Father Scott Lemaster as celebrant.

Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Sugar Creek.

Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home in Preston was in charge of the arrangements.

Veronica was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Women's Club, Senior Citizens, Altar and Rosary Society and the Red Hats Club. She thoroughly enjoyed going out to dinner. Veronica truly loved hearing the Sugar Creek choir sing when they came to visit her.

Veronica is survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oliver; brothers, Ray, George, Leo and Nick (in infancy); sisters, Rosemary Diedrick, Viola Diedrick, Margaret Mussman and Catherine Reuter.

A memorial fund has been established.

The family would like to thank the Alverno staff for their care and compassion.
