| 5/18/2013 | Email this article Print this article | Northeast School Board The Northeast Community School board of education will meet Wednesday, May 22, in the elementary library in Goose Lake at 6 p.m. A public hearing will be held regarding disposal of equipment.
On the agenda are:
Building project progress report, which will include Matthew Gillaspie of Piper Jaffray reviewing bond sale results; consider sealed bids opened and reviewed by the superintendent of schools, secretary of the board and financial advisor; adoption of resolution to direct the sale of G.O. school bonds to the lowers bidder; and building committee report.
Consent agenda, including bills outstanding, recapitulation/finance summary and open-enrollment requests.
Recognition of visitors.
Communications.
Reports, including those of transportation, superintendent, summer maintenance work, bus stops contingency and sales tax budget.
Approval of second reading of board police on disposition of obsolete equipment.
Acceptance of resignation(s).
Approval of administrative recommendation(s) for employment.
Review approval of superintendent's recommendation to begin preschool/transitional kindergarten class for 2013-2014 school year.
Approval of annual student achievement goals for 2013-2014.
Set date, location and time of regular June meeting.
Public forum.
Announcements.
An exempt session for negotiations will be held.
