On July 30, 2021 DeWitt is the last overnight stop for Register’s
Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) and we’re EXCITED
to showcase our town to the 20,000 people, from all over the world,
who will visit that day.

Calling all community members!
Are you interested in volunteering to help with
RAGBRAI festivities? We are looking for hundreds
of volunteers! Volunteers are essential in
making this event a huge success and shines a
spotlight on the thing we love most about DeWitt
our residents! You can choose locations, tasks and
specific times that work best for you! Sign up today

Riders who were unable to secure a campground spot will be
looking for housing up until the day of the event. Riders may ask to
use private residences, yards or anywhere they can find a place to park
their vehicle or tent. To be a host, join the DeWitt RAGBRAI Housing and
Camping group that can be found on the DeWitt RAGBRAI Facebook
page. From there, you can match with riders looking for a place to stay.

VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE! EVERY
nonprofit that is identified for
50 or more volunteer shifts
will receive a $500 grant. The
nonprofit that is identified on the
most volunteer shifts will receive
an additional $500, so $1,000
total! When you sign up, simply
indicate a local nonprofit you
want to attribute your shift to. If
you’re not directly involved with a
nonprofit, you can designate your
hours to go toward a nonprofit
you feel most connected to. All
volunteers will also receive an
official RAGBRAI volunteer T-shirt!
