Don’t forget about the many activities at the Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library in the next week. Some are as follows:

Monday, Nov. 18: Monday Morning Mahjong Club will meet, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Open to beginners or experienced players. Mahjong is a game of strategy, skill and a little bit of luck. The game also requires a little bit of set-up, so it is recommended that participants arrive promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Also, on Monday is the Tween after-school lab, 3:30 p.m. Students in grades 4-8 will participate in rotating science, cooking and other activities on the third Monday of each month in the library meeting room. Snacks are provided.

Tuesday, Nov. 19: Family Night, 6 p.m., is for families with young children.

Wednesday, Nov. 20: Mother Goose and Preschool story times, 9 a.m. Mother Goose is for children ages 1-3. Preschool is for children 3-5 years old. There will be stories, songs, games and snacks.

Saturday, Nov. 23: Kindermusik will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is for 2, 3, 4 and 5-year-olds.
