Ms. Bopes is a graduate of Northeast High School. She holds a masters of social work degree from St. Ambrose University, a bachelors of social work degree from Loras College.
CCC President Dr. Karen Vickers commented, “We are looking forward to working with Katie and know she brings great experience working in Jackson County with her. As we plan for the future programming at the center, Katie’s familiarity with Jackson County and her experience in offerings programs will serve us and the county well.”
The CCC Maquoketa Center is located at 501 W. Washington in Maquoketa. The center hosts credit, non-credit classes, and community events, and is office space for community services. Bopes will assume her new role Jan. 6.
