Northeast’s homecoming theme: Night at the Movies

Staff and students at Northeast Community Schools in Goose Lake will celebrate “Night at the Movies” as their theme for the 2019 homecoming festivities.

Dress-up days this week have included “The Breakfast Club” and “Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.” Wednesday will be “Class Day,” with the freshmen dressing up as “The Little Rascals,” sophomores as “Revenge of the Nerds,” juniors as “We Bought a Zoo” and seniors as “Hercules.” 

Thursday will be “Back to the Future,” or “Throwback Thursday,” and Friday will be “Friday Night Lights,” when students will wear their school colors.

The parade will be Friday at 1:30 p.m., immediately followed by the pep assembly at the high school.

The dance will take place Saturday night at the school, 8-11 p.m.
