The CDL Scrapbookers are holding a fundraiser for cancer Friday, Sept. 18, Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20 at the DeWitt Community Center.

There will be a silent auction in which the public is invited to come and bid on items. There will be all types of things for sale. Bidding starts Friday from 6-10 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m.-noon. Bids will be reviewed at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, and winners will be called.

Items must be picked up by 2 p.m. Sept. 20, unless other arrangements are made. Cash payments are preferred, or credit card with a five percent fee. Receipts will be provided for a tax deduction.

In the past, money has been raised for autism and Habitat for Humanity, with dollar amounts in the thousands.

This will be the sixth year the CDL Scrapbookers have held a fundraiser. They are a group of ladies who get together to craft, whether it be sewing, scrapbooking or card making.
