Judy Ann (Mrs. Joseph) Dunn, 60, of Davenport, died Monday afternoon, Aug. 31, 2020, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport.
The former Judy Ann Holmes was born June 6, 1960, in Clinton to Ezra and Jeanette (Rathje) Holmes. She was a graduate of Central Community Schools, DeWitt. Judy was employed by John Deere Harvester, Moline for many years. She married her best friend, Joseph Dunn in Bettendorf.
Judy was a farmgirl at heart, loving her animals dearly, especially horses. She also loved spending time with her family, crossword puzzles, reading, music, road trips with her husband, spoiling her granddaughter and her dog, Marley.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; her daughters, Amanda Herbers and Alesha (Cody) Stallings of Davenport; her granddaughter, Ella Herbers of Blue Grass; and her mom, Jeanette Holmes of Davenport.
Preceding Judy in death were her father, Ezra and her grandsons, Matthew and Aaron.
The family received relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2020. A service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Obermann officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Mound. Memorials may be made to the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary.
Pallbearers were Mike Cathcart, Robert Bousselot, James Holmes, Denny Fox, Douglas Fox and Danny Dunn.
