Seth Stockman, 50, DeWitt, passed away Jan. 30, 2021, at home.
Seth Aaron Stockman was born to Louis and Charlotte “Cheri” (Bullock) Stockman, June 15, 1970, in Davenport. He graduated from West High School, Davenport in 1988. Seth served in the United States Army from 1988 until 1993. He married Anita Steele in 1989 in Davenport. Their 25-year marriage was blessed with children, Morgan and Tate. Following his honorable discharge from service, he began his 27-year career as an Engineer with Chicago Northwestern Railroad which became Union Pacific Railroad.
As a gear-head, Seth enjoyed his hotrods, walking through car shows and loved watching Barrett Jackson. One of the family’s fondest memories was the rev of the hotrod echoing under an overpass.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Morgan Stockman and Tate Stockman and their mother, Anita Stockman all of DeWitt; his wife, Kristi (Lundquist) Stockman and her son, Braeton Podoski of DeWitt; a brother, Schuyler Bowman; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Scott Bowman.
A visitation and military rites were held Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.
