She was born June 13, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ralph and Irene Froid Stubblefield. Tina married Matthew Allen Moore on Sept. 5, 1987, in Grand Mound. For many years she cooked at the former Purple Pig in DeWitt, spent several years at DeWitt Travel Mart, and finished her cooking career at the Welton Truck Stop.
Tina loved spending time with her family and grandson. She enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, painting pictures, and was a great fan of the Denver Broncos. Most of all, Tina will be remembered for her witty sense of humor and creative cooking. Even in the nursing home, she enjoyed helping others and was known as "Tinativity," assisting the activities director with various functions.
Surviving are her husband, Matt; her son and daughter-in-law, Levi and Lisa Moore, of DeWitt; her grandson, Jimmie Johnson, of Welton; her parents, Ralph and Irene Stubblefield, of Jacksonville, Illinois; and her brother, Michael Stubblefield, of Jacksonville.
Preceding Tina in death were her son, Cody Moore, and her daughter, Kristina "Krissy" Johnson.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Saints Philip and James Catholic Church in Grand Mound from 9 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. Fr. Francis Odoom officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Grand Mound at a later date. Tina would want everyone attending to dress casually.
